Post Seal Coating Care Guide
Avoid driving or parking on the driveway for a MINIMUM of 24 hours. Staying off the driveway for 48 hours is ideal, if possible.
We apply the sealant by brush, which is the heaviest application method, so expect to see some brush marks. This is normal, and they will go away on their own.
Seeing tire marks on a freshly sealed driveway, possibly for a few weeks after being sealed, is also normal. Tire marks will also become less noticeable with time.
DO NOT turn the wheels of your car while the vehicle is stationary. Power steering can damage the sealer film.
If crack filler has been utilized during the repair process, the repaired crack(s) WILL BE VISIBLE through the sealer. The entire driveway will be uniform in color (dark black matte), but you will see the outline of the repairs.
Do your best to quickly and properly clean gas, oil, or chemical spills on your driveway to prevent staining or damage to the sealer film.
To prevent premature wear, use a blower or a broom to regularly clear off excess gravel or dirt on the driveway surface.
Snow plows, tire chains, and road salt will all damage the driveway surface. Be aware of this during snow removal.
